Project Coordinator

Dr. Jakub Synowiec is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Ethics at the Faculty of Philosophy of the Pontifical University of John Paul II in Krakow. From 2019 to 2024, he served as the Head of the Philosophy Program, coordinator of the English-language studies at the Faculty of Philosophy, and Deputy Director of the International Center for Research on the Phenomenon of Solidarity.

His academic interests include ethics, applied ethics, metaethics, animal ethics, effective altruism, the dialogue between Christian ethics and utilitarianism, personalism, and longtermism.

Dr. Jakub Synowiec is responsible for the academic and organizational coordination of the entire project.
