Lecture Block Instructor
The lectures will be given by recognised Polish professors and international specialists such as:
Polish historian and philosopher. Full Professor at Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań. Author of numerous publications in the fields of the philosophy of history, philosophy of human sciences, social philosophy, political philosophy, and historical-comparative sociology.
In the Summer School he will lead the classes:The History of the Idea and Practice of Solidarity against the Backdrop of Economic and Political Changes (19th and 20th centuries)
He has an academic background in economics, political science, and Catholic theology. He completed his studies in Münster, where he obtained a PhD in economics, a bachelor's degree in Catholic theology, and a habilitation in Christian social ethics.
In addition to his academic work, Prof. Wiemeyer is a member of the expert group "Global Economy and Social Ethics" of the German Bishops' Conference, where he has also served as an advisor to the Caritas Commission.

An Italian philosopher and politician. He has dedicated his academic career to the University of Saint Pius V in Rome, where he lectures on political science. He was also a professor at the International Academy of Philosophy in Liechtenstein and head of the Department of Philosophy at the Pontifical Lateran University. A political activist, he was active during the formation of the current European Union and served in the European Parliament from 1999 to 2001. He was Italy's Minister for European Affairs (2001–2005) and Minister of Culture (2005–2006).
Since 1978, his research interests have focused on Polish culture and the personalist philosophy of the Lublin school, particularly the work of Karol Wojtyła, whom he knew personally. He is the author of the book: "The Thought of Karol Wojtyła."
In the Summer School he will lead the classes: Solidarity as a Response to the Problems Resulting from the Globalization of the Economy and Socio-cultural Life
Professor of economics at the University of Bologna, a member of the Human Development and Capability Association, and the president of the Pontifical Academy of Social Sciences. He is the author of numerous books and articles on welfare economics, consumer behavior theory, social choice theory, economic epistemology, ethics, history of economic thought, and civic economy.

Polish philosopher, ethicist, and professor of humanities.
1977, he obtained a Master's degree in theology from the Pontifical Faculty of Theology. In 1985 he began doctoral studies at the Catholic University of Louvain. On June 19, 1990, Rev. prof. Zuziak published and defended his dissertation The Metaphysical Foundations of Human Action by J. Maritain (L'agir humain et ses fondements métaphysiques chez Jacques Maritain), thereby obtaining his Ph.D. degree in philosophy. In 1999, he received the degree of habilitation in the humanities in the field of philosophy. In 2013 he obtained the title of professor. Rev. Prof. Zuiak was the dean of the Faculty of Philosophy (2002–2006) and the rector of the Pontifical University of John Paul II in Krakow (2010–2014). He was vice-president of the European Federation of Catholic Universities of Europe (FUCE). Currently. Rev. Prof. Zuziak is the is the director of the Management Board of the International Center for Research on the Phenomenon of Solidarity and a member of the Council of the Solidarity Heritage Institute for the 2019-2024 term.
His research interests include: human philosophy, ethics, personalism, French philosophy, ethics in public life.
